Personal data we collect

Each time our Service is accessed, event-related data is stored in a protocol file or database on our hosting provider's server. This includes any information you provide to use the Service or contact us.

We collect the following information:

  • Date and time of the request;
  • Data transfer amount, access status (e.g., content transmitted, content not found);
  • Operating system, browser, and device type;
  • Screen resolution, language, and time zone settings;
  • Referrer URL, i.e., the internet address of the website visited prior to accessing our Service;
  • IP address and the name of your internet service provider.

The IP address is stored only for the duration of the session and is deleted or anonymized immediately afterward.

We collect this data because it is technically necessary for displaying our website and ensuring its stability and security. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.

How your personal data is used

  • Providing the requested services, such as matching you with other members of our platform.
  • Ensuring the best possible user experience, such as editing your profile and managing your privacy settings.
  • Fulfilling our contractual obligations to you, such as informing you about potential connections (Interview Invites) via the platform, email, or phone.
  • Enabling your participation in our interactive service to the extent you desire.
  • Informing you about changes to our service, relevant content releases, community events, and marketing initiatives.

On our website, you can set up an account to use our online recruitment platform. If you sign up as a candidate ("Talent"), you are required to provide personal data such as your name and email. Additionally, you need to add information about languages and other skills, employment and education history, and location to create an account. Signing up as an employer requires entering the company name, hiring location, contact person, and contact email. This information is processed solely for the purpose of implementing the contractual relationship. Typically, companies access Talent profiles directly on the platform after searching for certain skills and contact the Talent directly. Additionally, Staffr may contact the Talent or the employer via phone, email, or messaging service to suggest companies that fit the Talent’s profile or Talents that fit the company’s profile. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR. You can revoke the storage of data at any time.

You can always delete your specified data and entire user account in the customer area. You agree to treat your personal access data confidentially and not to share it with unauthorized third parties. We do not assume liability for misused passwords unless we are responsible for the misuse. If you suspect that a third party knows your password, that it has been used without authorization, or that such use is likely, you should notify us immediately. You are responsible for ensuring your information is accurate and complete and for notifying us of any changes. You can review and update your information in the account settings section of our website. After completing communication with Staffr, you should log out and close the browser window, especially if you share the computer with others.

Data transfer to third parties

Staffr shares your personal data with third parties only if you have given your consent, if it is necessary for contract performance, or if required by law.

Our partner companies, which help us match Talents with suitable jobs, have access to Talent profiles. Consequently, personal data of Talents are shared with these companies. They can only use this data within the scope of the hiring process (e.g., storing the data in their applicant tracking systems) and to contact the Talent if they are interested. This processing is based on Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) and f) GDPR.

We occasionally engage external service providers to process your personal data and support our services. These providers are selected carefully, instructed according to our policies, and monitored regularly. The data they receive can only be used to carry out their designated tasks.

Specifically, Staffr shares personal data with service providers to facilitate the creation and publication of Talent profiles, verify qualifications, arrange online interviews with companies or Staffr, maintain communication between Talents and companies, and assist with visa processes.

To enhance our services and evaluate potential contracts between Talents and companies, Staffr may access communications between Talents and companies on our platform.

When transferring personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure that it is done only if the third country has been recognized by the EU Commission as having adequate data protection levels, appropriate safeguards are in place (such as EU standard contractual clauses or binding corporate rules), or the individual has consented to the transfer.
